All track time information will be sent to your email during the week leading up to the event, ensuring that you receive all necessary updates and notifications. These details will include the following information, which is essential for your preparation and participation in the event.
# What You Need to Get Out on Track
Getting ready for your track time can be an exciting experience, but it’s essential to ensure you have everything you need to make the most of your day. Below is a comprehensive guide to help you prepare for your track session.
###Ford Vehicle only
Only Ford vehicles will be permitted to participate in the track time sessions that are scheduled. Any other makes and models of vehicles will be denied entry, and it is important to note that no refunds will be issued under any circumstances for those who do not comply with this policy.
### Indemnity Form
Before you arrive at the event, it is important that you complete the indemnity form. This form will be sent to you via email, along with your track time vehicle pass, during the week of the event. Please ensure that you check your email for these documents to facilitate a smooth check-in process.
### Track Time Parking Vehicle Pass
If you are not a member of a club or do not have an individual display, please make sure to utilize the parking pass that was emailed to you along with your track time information. This pass is essential for allowing you to park your vehicle in the designated area prior to your scheduled track time. Having this pass is crucial for ensuring that you have a specific parking spot reserved for you, which will help facilitate a smooth experience during your time at the track.
### Pit Lane Pass
Please make sure to collect this item at the event when you are signing in for your briefing. After you have collected it, proceed to divide it into 4 distinct sections as instructed. Once you have completed the division, ensure that each section is placed in the following specified positions: the nearside corner of the windscreen, the bottom corner of the nearside rear window, and the bottom corner of the offside rear window.
## Clothing Requirements
In addition to wearing a helmet, it is essential that all participants ensure their arms and legs are covered. This means wearing long sleeves and long pants. Here’s why this is important:
- **Protection from Injuries:** Covering your arms and legs helps protect your skin from abrasions and injuries in case of a fall or collision.
- **Comfort and Safety:** Long clothing can also provide an additional layer of comfort and protection from the elements, such as wind or debris while on the track.
### Wrist Bands
Wristbands will be provided to the driver at the time of signing in, ensuring that they have the necessary identification for the event. Additionally, wristbands will also be provided to passengers, allowing them to gain access and participate in the activities planned.
###PURCHASED A PASSENGER TICKET
If you have purchased a ticket for a passenger to join you on your track session, please mention this when signing on and we will issue the passenger wristband to your passenger.
### Signing On for Your Track Session
To sign on, you must present both your physical driving licence and the online share code from the DVLA. This share code can be obtained from the DVLA website. Please ensure you have these documents ready, as no refunds will be issued if you fail to provide the correct documentation.
### Tickets for Entry
Remember that both drivers and passengers will need tickets to enter the Show Site. Your Tracktime pass does not include entry, so ensure you have your tickets ready.
### Driving Licence
Participants in track time sessions are required to have a valid full driving license. This includes both the physical driving license and the counterpart. Both documents must be presented in order to take part in the session.
### Track Time Rules
Familiarize yourself with the track time rules before attending your briefing session. Note that track time is non-refundable.
### Briefing
Attendance at the briefing is mandatory. Arrive at least 15 minutes early to ensure you don’t miss it, as missing the briefing will prevent you from accessing the track.
### Insurance and Safety
Your standard motor insurance policy does not cover track activities. We highly recommend obtaining your own track insurance for added protection during your session. Additionally, a strict no-alcohol policy is enforced, with random breath tests conducted throughout the event.
### Conclusion
By following these guidelines and ensuring you have the necessary documentation and passes, you’ll be set for an exhilarating day on the track. Enjoy your experience, drive safely, and have fun!
